A birth certificate is a small but much-loved part of a reborn doll. Artists often include one when the baby goes to her new home, and collectors keep it as a keepsake of their baby's "birth" day. If your doll doesn't have one, or you'd like to make someone else happy, download our template below.

What to write on a reborn birth certificate
- Baby's name. Middle names welcome.
- Date and time of birth. Usually the day the artist finished the doll, or the day she arrived in her new home.
- Weight and length. Reborn dolls are weighted to feel like a newborn. Ask the artist, or weigh and measure the doll yourself.
- Eye and hair colour.
- Kit name and sculptor. These are usually stamped on the back of the doll's neck and matter a lot for collectible dolls.
- Signatures of the reborn artist and the proud parent.
How to fill it in and print it
- Open the PDF in a free PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader and click on a line to type. Or print it blank and write by hand.
- In the print dialog choose Actual size, not Fit to page.
- Use a heavier matte paper or cardstock, around 65–80 lb cover (about 200 g/m²), if your printer handles it.
- Pop it in a frame or a keepsake folder. It also looks lovely next to the doll in her first photo.
